De-Alienating The Home

BA Architecture, Year 3
Short-term project

We are living at a time to pause and reassess our terms of reference. An opportunity
to reconsider one our most familiar spaces, our homes. They are perhaps one of the
spaces facing more radical transformations today. While we spend 90% of our time indoors, most of that time is in our domestic spaces which have become an extension of ourselves. Today, these are the spaces where many of our rituals of working, eating, exercising, resting, hygiene, and socializing take place. Our homes are connected with the rest of the city and the world, and allow us to reconnect with others. The home is the space to start our de-alienation.
